Joanne Prellberg

Joanne started showing dogs as a mere child living in the Kansas City area and has been involved in breeding and competing in dog sports (conformation, obedience, rally, draft, FastCAT and dock diving) for almost five decades (!), the last 35+ years with Bernese Mountain Dogs. She earned a BS in public relations from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City before moving to the Valley in 1991 and has worked in the veterinary field since then. She is in the process of getting approved by the American Kennel Club to be a dog show judge.

Joanne presently shares her house with Berners Kansas & Dilly, both of whom you’ve probably met at the front desk, and calico kitty Kale who would rather die than have to greet people.
